Hi, I'm Zippy or Pretzel, and I'm a queer researcher, writer, and dancer/choreographer raised in Kenya, now based in New England. My work has been heavily influenced by fandom spaces as far back as I can remember, and it brings me so much joy to interact with others who have the same interests!As a writer, I have worked on research articles and literature reviews for my "real" job of neuroscience/psychology research; However, I spend my free time writing lots of fanfiction, currently focused mainly on Ace Attorney and FNAF!I've danced for almost 20 years now, and my training is primarily in ballet and modern, but I've also had experience in lyrical/contemporary, theatrical jazz, tap, hip-hop, and African dance. As a choreographer, my main goal is always to shape my choreography to the bodies of those I perform with, rather than the other way around. Dance is truly something that has changed my life for the better, and I hope to bring that to others!
